The Kymatika K-Test measures an individual’s resistance to specific foods. It is non-invasive and takes a matter of minutes to give a result. What's more it offers solutions to specific dietary needs through the online Virtual Nutritionist.
The Virtual Nutritionist is the free online service that provides a personalised overview of your K-Test results. This is important as it will analyse your K-Test results and provide a detailed explanation as to how you can optimise your diet and better manage your health.
Changing our eating habits can be difficult. As the food we eat profoundly effects our overall health and energy levels, the Virtual Nutritionist was conceived - to offer practical dietary suggestions which can be used to make the changes necessary to improve our health as simply as possible; because without our health we have nothing.
The Kymatika K-Test is the culmination of three years extensive research and development, testing and validation by a dedicated team of professionals. Based on forensic science, the ground breaking technology upon which the Kymatika system is based makes it the first of its kind in the world.
Each and every foodstuff has a unique infra-red ‘fingerprint’ and the Kymatika system is able to measure these different ‘fingerprints’ and the body’s unique reactions to them using proven scientific technology.
Being non-invasive, the Kymatika K-Test is completely painless. It takes measurements from the surface of the fingers by stimulating the nerve endings with bioelectromagnetic waves – similar to how an ECG (electrocardiogram) machine screens the heart.
How safe is it?
Most food testing systems are invasive, time-consuming and expensive. Kymatika is different. You simply place two fingers on the Kymatika unit and within minutes you will receive a print-out of your own personal results, right there and then.
As such, the K-Test is totally safe as it works on the subtlest energy movements of the body rather similar to an EEG and ECG heart monitor.
Anyone who has had a pacemaker fitted or any other electro-medical device is not advised to use this test.
Which foods are anyalysed by the K-Test?

What do I do if I have foods in the red (avoid) section of my results?
It is best to remove these foods from your diet initially for 6-8 weeks, then re-test yourself and compare the results. If the food has lowered in its result, from red to orange or green then it should be safe to reintroduce it progressively and to re-test yourself after one week.
How does the K-Test compare to other food tests?
The K-Test is a unique method of testing food resistance and digestive profiling. Being non-invasive, the Kymatika K-Test is completely painless. It takes measurements from the surface of the fingers by stimulating the nerve endings with bioelectromagnetic waves – similar to how an ECG (electrocardiogram) machine screens the heart. The Kymatika K-Test is being launched with 40 basic food and drink substances which cover the average person’s diet in the UK. Also, unlike other systems, your K-Test results are available in printed form within minutes.
Does it matter what time of day I do the test?
It doesn’t matter when you take the test. The unique calibration system takes into account any physical and environmental conditions which may vary from test to test. However, it is always best to be as relaxed as possible when the test is taking place and it is essential that your hand is kept still for the duration of the test.
Can I present these results my Doctors or Nutritionists?
The K-Test results are not a medical diagnosis but rather a lifestyle indicator. This means that the results of the K-Test are indicative of a food resistance rather than a medical condition. However, these results are of interest to Doctors and Nutritionists as they may indicate what food(s) could be causing the presenting symptoms.
How soon before I can do the next test?
If your K-Test results show foods which are classed as red or amber, we recommend that you either avoid or reduce these foods for 6-8 weeks initially before re-testing. However, many people like to monitor their changes more regularly than this; perhaps after 2-3 weeks. Testing yourself more than once a day is not recommended.
What effect does food have on my health?
"Let your food be your medicine" said Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine: The modern truism is “you are what you eat”. And that statement is totally true! What you eat is definitely crucial on your overall quality of life. It gives you energy, vitality, healing and health.
How can I find out more about nutrition and diets?
The K-Test website has been designed to provide detailed information about diet, nutrients, vitamins, minerals and even tips relating to weight loss. Plus, once you have done a K-Test, you can enter your test code and PIN on the home page to access personalised dietary analysis from the Kymatika Virtual Nutritionist as many times as you want to.
Can children use the K-Test ?
Yes, it is safe for all the family. The only limitations are for those with very small fingers which will not cover the sensor pads, or very young children who may not sit still for the required time. It is very important that the fingers are fully in contact with the sensor pads for the duration of the test. In addition anyone who has had a pacemaker fitted or any other electro-medical device is not advised to use this test.
How does it work?
Kymatika is a food resistance testing system, which, together with its online Virtual Nutritionist, enables regular monitoring of the body’s reactions and sensitivity to particular types of food and drink. It allows the individual to build up a picture of which foods are good for them personally and which are not so good. By acting upon this information, it enables people to maximise their energy levels and general well-being. Unlike some food testing systems, the Kymatika K-Test is non-invasive and totally painless. The test takes under 5 minutes and gives immediate results in the form of a printed report.
What are the benefits of having a K-Test?
The K-Test will identify any food substances among the 40 analysed which you have difficulty digesting. When food is difficult to digest various low grade illnesses and conditions can affect your health. This tends to lessen your vitality and energy levels, diminishing the quality of life. The K-Test enables you to choose a diet which is in tune with your own body and so leads to a healthy lifestyle.
What is the difference between an allergy and a food resistance?
It is important to note that a food allergy is different to food resistance and sensitivities. An allergy is when the body’s immune system mistakenly produces IgE antibodies in response to harmless foods or substances. This can sometimes result in traumatic and serious medical conditions, which need to be seen immediately by a doctor. Food allergy reactions are usually immediate, caused by an adverse reaction to a small amount of a specific food, in which the immune system is demonstrably involved.
What is a food resistance?
A food resistance is basically a temporary food intolerance. They can be identified usually when the bar(s) on the graph move at each K-Test, due to the body’s reaction slightly changing to the food. This generally occurs when you eat too much of a particular food, too often, creating a mild digestive imbalance. Once you eliminate that food for a while, your body readjusts itself and your next K-Test results should reflect this change.
